While we are still a fairly small business, we are working to meet the requirements to become a B Corporation. This means we will be held accountable, legally, to choose what’s best for our community, employees, and customers. Our Mission
Our mission as a business isn’t just to provide premium eco-friendly cleaning solutions. At HelloClean, we focus on the bigger picture— giving mothers access to flexible hours and the platform to discover what they want to do in the world. As a cleaning company, we encounter many different people from several different walks of life. We want to use our position to connect our employees with mentors who can help them pursue and achieve their professional and personal goals. There are many work re-entry programs for mothers (which is awesome, and very needed!) but few cater to the mothers who didn’t have a skill set before having children. HelloClean wants to elevate these women, which will in turn elevate our community.

What We Use to Clean Your Space
Don’t get us wrong. We know that any type of consumerism has negative ecological effects. However, we take that responsibility with the utmost seriousness here at HelloClean. Whether it’s using EarthHero® laundry balls (trapping micro-fiber plastics that would otherwise end up in our waterways) or sourcing cellulose-based sponges that use far less plastic than the typical sponge, we are constantly trying to innovate our processes to be good stewards of the earth. Some of the products and tools we use include:
PerfectCLEAN® Microfiber
What makes microfiber cloths so awesome? They literally scoop up dirt and germs and trap them. PerfectCLEAN® microfiber go above and beyond. They have an electrostatic charge using patented, anti-microbial technology. They trap 99.9% of germs and dirt!
Multi-Purpose Cleaner
This is the cleaning agent we will use the most during a service, so it’s extremely important that we use something safe and effective. Our multi-purpose cleaner consists of the following ingredients: water, hydrogen peroxide, safe and green seal-approved surfactant and builders, and essential oils. No fragrances, dyes, or harmful chemicals (VOCs)!
Abrasives
Have a super stubborn toilet ring or a shower that needs a little extra elbow grease? This is where abrasives come in. The name sounds intimidating, but we promise it’s safe. All this refers to is the scrubby side of sponges, baking soda, and pumice stones. These things will keep hard water and grime at bay.
HEPA-Standard Vacuums
HEPA means “High-Efficiency Particulate Arrestance.” Why does this matter? Because this means a vacuum with a HEPA filter collects 99.7% of dust mites, pollen, bacteria, and other particles measuring 1 micron and larger. Better yet, our Miele and ProTeam vacuums get 99.9% of these with their superior certified HEPA filters.
Mopping
For mopping up, we use PerfectCLEAN® microfiber mop pads, water, and ph neutral mild dish soap. PerfectCLEAN® microfiber mop pads have anti-microbial cleaning technology that traps in dirt and germs. They use minimal amounts of moisture, so they are safe on all floors.
Steam
For jobs that need a little extra help, we use steam. Our low moisture (only 5%) steam cleaners can tackle every job. They get ovens, fridges, flooring, grout, stuck on adhesive, and walls (just to name a few). One of our favorite things about our steam cleaners is they can sanitize and disinfect a multitude of surfaces!
